For live productions applications, the standard tactical grade cabling contains (4) fibers. The connectors used are “TAC-4” connectors which are tactical grade, 4 fiber, hermaphroditic connectors. This cable contains Kevlar around each individually jacketed fiber, as well as Kevlar surrounding the (4) fiber jacketed bunch. TFC-06 and TFC-12 cable and TAC connectors are also available where the intent is to transport a large number of channels with a single cable.

The TFC cable is extremely rugged tactical fiber cable. The outer jacket is made of durable Tactical Polyurethane and is lined with multiple ends of Aramid Yarn (Kevlar).

When ordering TFC fiber cable, add the length in feet to the TFC part number. i.e. TFC-0300 for three hundred feet, TFC-0050 for 50 feet, etc.
